About the guesthouse
The guesthouse is a 70-year-old earthen storehouse built in a rural landscape. The storehouse has been used as a storage facility since ancient times,
The storehouse has been transformed into a “place where people can stop by and relax.
The area is rich in shades of green and blue, a place where there is “nothing” but nature.
A place where people can take a break from the convenience of the digital world and enjoy the luxury of “nothingness”.
We would be happy if we could help you take a break to appreciate the charm and value of Nishiazai-cho.
Stay as if you were living in the guesthouse
Shiga Prefecture is home to the largest lake in Japan, Lake Biwa.
We carefully renovated storehouse into a place to relax while preserving the historical atmosphere of the area.
You can enjoy the seasonal scenery of rice fields, listen to birds singing, take a walk in the dazzling morning sun, have a drink while watching the sunset from the garden, and dine under the stars in the evening.
Spending a day with nature in such a “luxurious” way may be a good idea.
